Links of the Week (or WHAT? You mean there’s more to cyberspace than ME?!)

1. My guest-post is up over at the delightfully awesome, brilliant and going-places Rachel Hills‘ blog, Musings of an Inappropriate Woman. I’ve known Rachel since the old Vibewire days, since which time she’s carved out quite the writing/speaking/amazingness career and has just made the big move to the big UK!

2. Check out this hilarious video starring Ralph Macchio, the original – and BEST – Karate Kid.

3. She Goes, pretty funky looking travel blog which incidentally, is looking for contributors I believe. So if you’re interested, best get in touch, yo! (Whereupon you holler: “Thank you Captain Obvious.”)

4. The new issue of Fear.Less is ready for download! Man, I am LOVING this mag. Which led me to their blog featuring…

5. This pretty damn awesome idea on being productive. It almost scares me because I think it would work! Oh, the things that could happen! I’ve really gotta work on this fear-less thing.

Any links you’re loving this week? Share em in the comments if you please!

  1. Jen , thanks for the Fear.less link. You have such a great bag of resources….does this come from lots of internet surfing? or do you just know alot of ‘stuff’?
    Have a great time away….

  2. Hey jen – laughed so much re: karate ralph….. LOVED IT… will have to show J 4 sure :) love u! love ur work! thanks for the fun posts :) ))

    • I know, isn’t it awesome?!?!? I laughed so much too. Have you seen the new movie? It was alright, but as I said to Tim, I didn’t watch it and go “Wow, the Karate Kid ‘s a great film!” it made me go “Wow, the original Karate Kid was a great film!”

  3. I’ve done a similar Seinfeld chain thing – not daily, mind you, but marking in a book when I did things like flossing (3x per week), exercising (3x per week), going meatless (1x day week), etc. etc. etc. By the end of the year, I had only missed a few of the checkmarks and felt so darn proud of myself!!!
Find something that works for you and set achievable goals and DO IT!!!
    =) K

    • Such a cool idea – I love the thought that your goal is to check the box, rather than focusing on the external stuff which can be so overwhelming sometimes.

  4. This one totally blew me away. I’m linking to someone else linking since she gives you a bit of background to the YouTube clip. It’s the winner of Ukraine’s Got Talent – a sand artist!

  5. Jenny I am loving your posts. They do make laugh. I have never seen anything like the Karate Kid before! Congratulations on the Daily Brainstorm posts.
